Wonderful indeed!

So a few days back, I shared with all of you guys, one intriguing piece of values blended with love and care and tremendous amount of knowledge! A letter written by Abraham Lincoln.

Today I remember reading a small paragraph…from a very famous book called “THE KITE RUNNER”. The book, as you all know is beyond amazing. The story and the boys – Amir and Hassan… You will never read such a wonderful book. All books carry in them a certain essence, which can’t be compared. This book is one amazing novel, written by Khaled Hosseini.

I really loved reading it. And today I would love to share with you a small paragraph from that book.

The Paragraph is about ‘sin’, how a father makes his son understand what the greatest and the only sin is.

“There is only one sin, only one. And that is Theft. Every other sin is a variation of theft. Do you understand that?”

” No baba Jan,” I said desperately wishing I did. I didn’t want to disappoint him again.

When you kill a man, you steal a life. You steal his wife’s right to a husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone’s right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness. There is no act more wretched than stealing, Amir.”

So what do you think about this? Do write in the comment section your opinion!

Read. Love. Live
